I talked to a friend of mine who passed the NCLEX and she gave me some sound advice that I'd like to share. She said get back to basics!!! Think basic nursing care. She prepared by reading Davis NCLEX review, that's it! Her test shut off at 75. Her advice was to read our very first ATI book from N1&2...Keep it simple....Hmmmm, where have we heard that? She said there was a question about some disease she had never heard of and she followed basic nursing care to answer!!!! She is now working at St. Joe's 2E, so there is hope for us in finding jobs!!
