Hi all,
It is very humbling to see the exam results. The good side of it all is that the mistakes I made are only on paper and did not compromise the safety of the patient! Hopefully, those mistakes will forever stick to me and not make the same ones on a patient. In the meantime, keep an open mind and let's do it again in three weeks.
Have fun in clinicals. Enjoy the ride but always plan for Mr. Murphy to come along. Hint: Murphy's law.

I agree, I talked through all of my errors with Mrs. Semillo, which helped a lot. I left her office and all I had in my head was her saying, "the patient, the patient, the patient!" Most of my errors were not putting my patient first, which is frustrating for me because that is all I've heard for the last 3 weeks! The most difficult part of this for me, I think, is adjusting the way I think. I've worked too long in a business where the bottom line is more important, and I've got to change that.
